Kyle G. Waggoner is a licensed Texas attorney and Certified Public Accountant (CPA). With office locations in Mineola and Lindale, he is able to serve clients throughout Wood, Smith and neighboring counties. Mr. Waggoner has tailored his law practice to the areas of business law, estate planning, and probate, but is equipped to handle a wide range of issues within these practice areas. Mr. Waggoner is able to serve the litigation needs of his clients by association with experienced trial attorneys skilled in various areas of litigation.
Mr. Waggoner is a graduate of Mineola High School and received a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas at Tyler in 1992. Working two years in public accounting, he gained experience in taxation and financial accounting and reporting. Mr. Waggoner had the unique opportunity to attend law school at Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and received his Juris Doctor degree in 1997. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas the same year.
As a CPA and attorney, Mr. Waggoner continued to live
and work in the Dallas Metroplex for three additional years gaining
more experience in the areas of tax law and complex estate planning. In
2000 the Law Office of Kyle G. Waggoner was formally opened in Mineola. With
this move Mr. Waggoner was able to apply his skills and experience
to the general business needs in his home county. From November
2001 to February 2005, Mr. Waggoner had the privilege of working with
R. Craig Boyd in Tyler (Boyd & Waggoner, P.C.), furthering his
knowledge and skills in business planning and structuring.
Mr. Waggoner is the City Attorney for both the City
of Mineola and the City of
Lindale.
As a result of Mr. Waggoner’s commitment to continued professional education, he has been admitted into the College of the State Bar of Texas and maintains his membership in the Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, the Wood County Bar Association and the Smith County Bar Association. He serves as an officer of the Rotary Club of Mineola and is a past director of the Mineola Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Waggoner believes in the importance of involvement in the political processes of our great State and Nation and has served as campaign treasurer to State Representative Bryan Hughes since he first announced his candidacy in 2001.
Kyle and Rita have been blessed with five children and
all available personal time is spent with family activities, including
little league baseball, biking, hiking and backyard fun.
